PC vs DVD
DVDs are not interactive in the same way that PC software is. The following is what is not included in the DVD version.

PC Networks
Requirements
- 512 MB RAM (1 GB recommended)
- Windows XP or higher
- Windows Media player - v 9 or higher
- Flash - v 7 or higher
- 2 GB free disk space
Performance
Although Orasphere™ can be accessed and run directly from the server by workstations it is recommended that "local" installations be done on your workstations. Playing multimedia on a computer is resource intensive. To avoid performance degradation on your server we recommend an installation to each workstation on your network.
Setup
Orasphere™ network is delivered on a 3 CD-ROM set. An easy to follow setup routine will guide you through installation on your server/workstations (see Performance below).
Security
Orasphere™ network allows for ten instances to run simultaneously. You can have more than ten workstations with Orasphere™ installed but a maximum of ten users simultaneously will be imposed.
Updates
How much do they cost?
$495.00 USD for PC Network and DVD versions. Online Subscriptions are updated at no additional fee.
Are They Mandatory?
Updates are not mandatory; however if a request for an upgrade is made after missing one or more previous upgrades a sliding scale fee may be applied for the most current upgrade.
How often are they released?
A new version of Orasphere™ is released annually that includes additional videos and features.
Do I get updates automatically?
Orasphere™ Subscription, our online answer for your patients, is an annual fee program. New content will be automatically included at no additional charge.
Subscription
Installation
There is no installation required for Orasphere™ Subscription. You will be given a User Name and Password that will allow access to the on-line videos. The user name and password can be given to your patients for 24/7/365 access.
Operation
After connecting via a broadband connection and entering the User Name and Password operation is as simple as "pointing and clicking" from an easy to use graphical menu.
Updates
Orasphere™ Subscription is automatically updated with new content as it becomes available at no additional cost to you. We'll notify you when new content becomes available!
